Main Street Trailhead

Beneath a towering freeway overpass in a derelict neighborhood seems an unlikely location for a recreational amenity, but such a spot is becoming an ideal trailhead on the Cleveland Foundation’s Centennial Link Trail. New parking spaces and pathways will give users adequate access to the trail, while cyclists may service their bikes at air pumps and bike repair stands. Coordination with the lead engineer and architect was critical in ensuring cohesiveness with the rest of the project. Boulevard Studios was also tasked with solving complex grading issues and seeking approvals from adjacent landowners, thus finalizing important design ideas to make this special point on the trail an accessible, attractive amenity. The firm produced rendered site plans and perspective drawings to communicate the look and feel of the site to project stakeholders while finessing the design to address their concerns and coordination issues along the way.
